The one and only Captain Zippy!
With over 15 years of experience as a skipper in the whale watching industry, Captain Zippy is the longest-serving whale watching skipper in the region.
He has been running charters in the southwest since 2001 and is also a Recreational Skipper Ticket Trainer.
Captain Zippy loves a chat and has mentored many aspiring skippers over the years.
There are not many you’ll meet that are as humble and knowledgeable as him.
Come meet Zippy for yourself on a whale watching tour, visiting Carnac Island, or on a private boat charter.
Jesse comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience having started as a deckhand and tour guide in her teens on Whale Shark boats in her home town of Exmouth, she then ventured 6 yrs later to working onboard liveaboard Kimberly Cruise vessels, and in 2023 she settled in the South West and joined our Team.
She is gaining her marine qualifications rapidly and in the past 18 months her Coxswain to drive small boats and her Master 5 to drive the whale watching vessels.
Customers will see her either bringing exceptional service, entertainment and enthusiasm working the deck on our Whale Watching tours, or even be in safe hands and informative hands with her behind the wheel skippering our vessels.
Eulalia with 5yrs of study obtaining her degree as a marine biologist , and a wealth of experience in whales. We can proudly say we have her onboard for the whale season this year.
Working all over the world including the Maldives, Iceland, Mexico and Spain. She is an array of knowledge, skill and has plenty of stories to tell…..
Royce comes with a wealth of experience, deckhand and future skipper, and also obtained his qualifications to be a trainer for up and coming boaties.
This man has many talents but we’d say the best is his ability to make you feel welcomed and apart of the team.
He is ALWAYS up for a dance on board, so be sure to ask for his whale dance!
The one and only Aiden also know as Ados.
The young gun has been in the marine industry for 10 years doing volunteer work as a life saver. He will be sure to let you know of the rules and how to save the odd floating pool noodle.
Gaining his Master V, and after guidance from Captain Zippy he gained his wings running our Perth charters in 2024.

Captain Paul “Zippy” has been skippering vessels for over 30 years navigating the waters off the coast of Western Australia. Zippy’s extensive experience and expert knowledge of the local waters ensure a safe and comfortable journey for all passengers aboard.

Our crew is like a walking (or should we say, sailing!) whale encyclopedia. They can identify different species based on their physical characteristics, behaviours, and even their vocalisations.
Throughout the tour, we’ll be there to answer your questions and share fascinating facts about the whales and the marine ecosystem we’re exploring.

If you experience seasickness, we’ll be there to offer helpful tips and provide you with seasickness medication (if available) to help you feel more comfortable and enjoy the tour.

On every tour, we have a dedicated naturalist team on board. Eulalia will be providing informative commentary throughout the trip, sharing her knowledge about the whales, the local ecosystem, and any other interesting marine life we may encounter.
